We walked away from the car and stripped naked. That’s when we could talk. Was it Nathan? Peter? Ling?

Cricket stopped picking up the phone. He went completely dark. I guess Water Room already knows. Interpol was all over us. This was the moment all my friends became foes. I don’t know who I should be more afraid of. The feds? The mainland? Water Room won’t bother finding the culprit first.

Bruce and I drove us one by one to the lake. We did the same thing. Make sure we weren’t wired. Until we were all pretty sure it was William. In turn, we drove him to the lake. He tried to keep up the act. Tommy and Paul were furious. They pulled a bag over his face and we drove him to Tommy’s vacation home in the national park. They waterboarded William for an hour. He never dropped the act. Paul threw a television in the tub and electrocuted William.

The operation was over and done. We left with what money we could fetch. I heard that Jimmy got caught trying to cross the border into Washington. Ling-ling managed to fix me a ride despite this would put him at risk. I left for Quebec never to return.
